Your journey begins in the Squad Building phase. With a diverse roster of heroes and villains on your bench, the choices are yours:
Assemble Your Squad: Choose Five core cards to take the field.

Select Your Captain: Your Captain is the heart of your team! Their stats are added to each single war turn, making your choice a critical strategic decision.
Master Synergies: Explore strong stat gifts by matching squad affiliations. Will you assemble a squad of strong lone warriors, cunning Stack placements, or unstoppable squad combinations?
UNLEASH DEVASTATING POWERS
Before the head-to-head war begins, unleash squad chaos in the Unique Powers phase! Each card has a special ability that can injure key opponents, conquer strong foes before they can act, draw fresh squad members, or even rescue defeated allies from the discard pile. Whether you adopt an aggressive approach and go for massive hitters, play the injury long-game or focus on adding resources in a defensive strategic, a well-timed unique power can turn the tide of the whole round.
OUTSMART YOUR OPPONENT IN BATTLE
When the dust settles, the surviving cards go head-to-head in tactical, turn-based combat. A roll of the dice determines which stat is compared—Strength, Intelligence, Powers, and more. Your squad choices and Unique Powers performance makes a really big difference to this round. Factoring in squad gift multipliers and/or unique power injuries, the player with the highest total score wins the turn, defeating their opponent's cards in that slot. But beware: the ultimate price of losing a round is steep, as the losing player must discard their Captain!
